Begin with Prayer

Mark Enns report on Shamattawa.
They had tent meetings and touched many people.
The new church is free to go on for hours singing loudly.
We did a barbeque and 2 kids helped and gave their burgers to someone that was more hungry.
Greg started this whirlwind and MB MISSION happily got sucked into it.

What can the future look like for Shamattawa? God has invited everyone to come alongside.

We went to a wake. Daniel Redhead and Eli were leading the singing in Cree. They asked us to join them in Cree. We are no longer outsiders.

Greg. Thankful for the monetary support to make banana muffins. Perimeter Aviation takes the muffins up there at no charge. Contact Greg@eastview.org if you want to help.
Met a man at Remand that wanted help.
2 teachers started a volleyball and basketball teams. Need jerseys and other supplies. Check out his Facebook page.

Camp Arnes youth leader's convention this coming weekend.

I begin each day with a blessing prayer. Send someone in to bless and be blessed.
Had a call from someone wanting him officiating at a funeral. Missed 2 opportunities recently. My plate is so full.

I am a child of God and a benefactor of the grace of Jesus. I'm an official child of God first. God leads us to bless others.

Genesis 12.1 God said I will make you a blessing.
Blessing people is your mission. It begins with prayer. Jesus takes us from our comfort zone. I might love being a do gooder but not build relationships.

Luke 6.12
http://bible.com/1275/luk.6.12-13.CJB It was around that time that Yeshua went out to the hill country to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God. When day came, he called his talmidim and chose from among them twelve to be known as emissaries:

Jesus spent all night in prayer before selection of his key followers. Away from everyone to keep from being side tracked. Do you begin the day with prayer?

Would you go to the top of the mountain to pray for guidance? Or Google to solve your problems?

Do you too need to pray all night?

2. Prayer impacts people and events. You need the Holy Spirit
Luke 11.11
http://bible.com/1275/luk.11.11-13.CJB "Is there any father here who, if his son asked him for a fish, would instead of a fish give him a snake? So if you, even though you are bad, know how to give your children gifts that are good, how much more will the Father keep giving the Ruach HaKodesh from heaven to those who keep asking him!"

God grant me a miracle. I was praying and weeping because of a sciatic nerve problem. Someone came up to be blessed that night.

3. Prayer changes your perspective. Change me first. What was the first thing that came out of your mouth? Peace or frustration.

5 minute drill assignment: reach out to someone today.
Build community: how can I pray for you today? I want to bless you. If this is difficult you need of Jesus.
