Have you had to change something in your life?  1st day of school, was it scary? Was your mom there for you?
Trusting is part of the Bible.
Abraham. Hebrews 11.9 he obeyed God.
If you can't see a step in front of you, you must trust your guide. Abraham couldn't see where he was going. He trusted God. God knew the plan. Now his descendants are a nation. Trust God to guide you.

Every Tuesday night we have a concert of prayer. Come if you need prayer.
We are sending a team to Shamattawa. Greg Armstrong has led that ministry. MB Mission Action Team. July 10. http://www.mbmission.org/action

http://bible.com/116/heb.11.8-10.nlt It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.

In the Hall of Faith there is more about Abraham than anyone else. He had naked faith. He hears he responds.

http://bible.com/116/gen.13.1-3.nlt So Abram left Egypt and traveled north into the Negev, along with his wife and Lot and all that they owned. (Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold.) From the Negev, they continued traveling by stages toward Bethel, and they pitched their tents between Bethel and Ai, where they had camped before.
Faith is living the conviction that God is trustworthy.
http://bible.com/116/jas.2.14.nlt What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?
When we follow the Bible we see faith is an action verb. How does a life without faith differ from a life of faith? We think we have to find faith but God invites us into a life of faith. Abraham did that. When God invites you will you go?
I have to be dislocated to depend on God.
Life gets exciting when we step out with God. It was exciting to step out in marriage. Ask the parents for their blessing. That was so scary and so exciting. We fear stepping out because of the circle of comfort. Hebrews 11:11 Abraham considered God faithful. Sarah's barenness was not a problem for God.
Fear can be a place of apathy and atrophy. Faith moves us into the place where we feel barren and God can work. If this is going to happen God has to work. What are you invited to?
