For a Jewish man to ask a Samaritan woman was all wrong. Do you think you are better than ancestor Jacob?
Look at this adulterous woman. 5 husbands might have died.
A woman was not left single. She might have been living with her brother.
When she had a chance to ask a stumper question she asked about where to worship. It was the biggest question you could ask. Gord Penner says focus on the who or why.
What does it mean to worship God in spirit and truth? Focus on The Messiah Jesus. I AM Jesus said. That's the first time he revealed himself.

Is our worship a response to God who he is?
