Wishing you God's richest blessings as you let your light shine for him in your small corner of the world!
The TENTATIVE plan is now to do surgery next Wednesday to remove the abscess caused by the infection Renee has in her lung. CT scan showed that it was smaller than before. From the initial results of the BM aspiration it looks like the leukemia is not very aggressive at this stage, giving them the option of doing the surgery first, before chemo.
The next step after the chemo would be to give her some booster cells from me. That would ensure a quicker recovery. Dr. O'Reilley said it was like being between a rock and a hard place. He said Renee was stronger spiritually than any other kid he knew. It was good to hear that from him.
Dr.O'Reilley expressed his concern about how was Ray was doing in our meeting with him yesterday. We really don't have the energy to dwell on the business past too much, which is a good thing.

I'm on acyclovir for a cold sore, that I'm sure is stress related. This might not seem like a big thing to you, but it is when you are around so many people with cancer. My concern is that I will be able to stay strong and healthy to donate cells. They are not going to use BM cells, but peripheral T cells. I hope I got that right.
Thank you so much for continuing to uphold us in prayer. It means more to us than words can tell.
Martha for all of us.
