Astonishing Grace

A picture is worth a 1000 words

We have been forgiven. Grace.
Who wants to grow spiritually this fall? Are you desperate?
2 Corinthians 3.18

We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at   the glory of the Lord  and are being transformed  into the same image  from glory to glory;  this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Grace is a gift that cost God everything.
We need to be loving.
Matthew 20.1-2 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.   After agreeing with the workers on one denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard.
A soldier's daily wage.
He kept going back and hiring people all day. At the end everyone got the same pay. Something went wrong. There was no justice and fairness.

Take what's yours and go. I want to give this last man the same as I gave you. Don't I have the right to do what I want with my business?    Are you jealous because I'm generous? ' "So the last will be first, and the first last."

How many of us would work for this landowner?

To give or to receive grace is always hard. Grace is a gift. This landowner was kind and loving.
Astonishing Grace
- is always a free gift.
- Keeps us living with the right perspective. Do you feel inadequate?
You are called at the 11th hour by a Loving Farmer. God knows your need
- it always works out. Complaining happens. Why? What would it look like if we were more forgiving.
- allows us to start from the beginning. Covered by the grace of God. This does not work for people who operate on results. We get the do-over. Do I consider myself the recipient of grace?

Thank you Father for providing a way out with astonishing Grace.
