John 9
"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
John 9:3, 5 NIV
There are 5 stages to the story
1. The person
2. The problem Jesus sinner?
3. The parents
4. The persecution
5. The pardon
What else is there behind the story?
Jesus has love. A miracle happens. Ultimately it's about healing the soul.
Jesus is the satisfying bread of life.
This is the 6th miracle recorded by John. 35.000.000 people are legally blind. This man was born blind.
He was thrown out of the synagogue when he confessed Jesus.
Do it yourself is easier than asking for help.
Spiritual Transformation
1. A man called Jesus
The man was a beggar. A nobody. Who sinned? Adam and Eve sinned and thought that God punished them. Blame came in.
How was the wrong question.
"How then were your eyes opened?" they asked.
John 9:3, 5-5, 10 NIV
2. A prophet. The pharisees had to investigate
This prompted them to turn on the man healed of blindness, putting him on the spot in front of them all, demanding an answer. They asked, "Who do you say he is—this man who opened your blind eyes?" "He's a prophet of God!" the man replied.
John 9:17 TPT
3. Man of God I tell you, if this man isn't from God, he wouldn't be able to heal me like he has!"
John 9:33 TPT
A human divine individual. One to worship
4 son of God
Jesus replied, "You're looking right at him. He's speaking with you. It's me, the one in front of you now." Then the man threw himself at his feet and worshiped Jesus and said, "Lord, I believe in you!"
John 9:37-38 TPT
5 worship

Nathanael blurted out, "Teacher, you are truly the Son of God and the King of Israel!"
John 1:49 TPT
