Christmas day and New Year's falls on Sunday this year. We will have normal church service times.

Spirit Empowered Living
1. Passionate. Be Christ centered.

God wants to birth something new and timely. To be Spirit led.
Focus on the Supernatural God. The Holy Spirit is the doorway providing the right equipment. Jesus rules.
Make disciples of all nations. We cannot fulfill the Great Commission without the filling of the Holy Spirit. Wait for the Power.

http://bible.com/111/1co.12.3-5.NIV Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.  There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.

Without it we can't be witnesses. There is confusion about supernatural gifts. Satan can do it to. Through people. Acts 8:9 Phillip is traveling through Samaria and there was a man who had been doing magic.

You can tell a tree by its fruit and God's spirit will not scare you. Satan has experience in heaven and can imitate Christ. Quit messing around with things that are not of the Spirit of God.

Gifts here means charisma - grace endowment. Undeserved. This charismatic church has been endowed. The phone has to be plugged in and it comes alive when it's charged.

Last week Mel spoke in tongues for the 1st time.

Practice the gifts - prophecy and all other gifts. Pursue them. Make room for the gifts. 1 Corinthians. They are for the purpose of God. Ephesians 4. Build in love.
