Seek to be near to God and listen. Live to see God's love living powerful. In the Philippines they had typhoon damage. Missionaries Lost everything. Had rats in the ceiling. Termites. So discouraged. Got nothing. No energy. Nothing left to give. Only the shell of self. 
Got a rundown hotel for free and a sizeable donation to start an upscale church to reach the rick. 
2. Good fruit. Every situation has an opportunity to grow fruit. Have patience. Love kindness gentleness mercy.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The NDP candidate defamed and twisted what he said about abortion. 
I responded in anger. Not fruit of the Spirit.
Always choose fruit. Embrace it.

Elijah had to live off roadkill and then mooch off a widow. God said to Elijah what are you doing? You are not the only one.

God's Potential Affirmation

Luke 1 In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,  The angel came to her and said, "Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!"  So the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God! Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.
Luke 1:26‭, ‬28‭-‬28‭, ‬30‭-‬31 NET
The angel talked to her. At age 12 the parents would arrange a marriage. They would get married at age 16 or 18.
Who says Greetings, favored one to a teenage girl?

Gideon was a hiding coward. 
The Lord's messenger appeared and said to him, "The Lord is with you, courageous warrior!"

God speaks into these people with honor and hope and potential. 
God sees the potential and calls it out. 
God calls into existence things that are not. 

God corrects us with hope. Guilt is feeling bad and I make it right. Unconditional sorry. Condemnation is depressing and can't say sorry. It makes you feel bad. There is sorry. 
God doesn't condemn. We need to hear God speaking affirmation to us. God loves you. It starts there.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.
Romans 8:26 NET

This is who you are. You are God's child. If you think you are feeling worthless get God's DNA with his Spirit. 

The first step is to hear God's affirmation. He is speaking affirmation to you right now. Why do some people not hear it? 
Unbelief is the main problem. We are not open to hear God. We think the affirmation can't be true. 
Mary had a tough time hearing the affirmation. She was greatly troubled. Why? That bothered her. She couldn't take the compliment. She tried to discern. She can't accept it. 
At some point we need to learn to make the choice to accept affirmation. When is the last time you heard affirmation from God. 
From your spouse? Affirmation is a language of love. Kids need to hear affirmation regularly. 
Is God our father? He is much better father and gives affirmation regularly. 
I asked son Charlie if I could tell this story. Calling out the good. We say stop don't smarten up. We should compliment. 
Only and at all times we should encourage the good. The kids were bickering and fighting badly at breakfast. Yelling. How can you encourage a mad kid? Sit down beside him and talk. As he calms down he feels shame. Charlie what's amazing is you didn't hit your brother. I'm proud of you. 

Thankful that God is changing me. He's like that all the time. He says I don't see a failure. 
Affirmation leads to Assignment. Act. You will conceive. 

You are an encourager. He wants to change you. 
Affirmation leads to adoration.
Allow God to speak affirmation into your life. Do it to other people. Quit nagging. It doesn't make people better. 
Speak affirmation to others. Find out what Jesus thinks about your spouse or kid. That will change them and you. 
Fast from nagging and pray over people close to you. Write down the affirmation you want to give them.

What difference do we make? In vocation? Day to day? How do I live it out? 
What is secular and what is sacred? Dichotomy how do we deal with that? 
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

 David and Goliath. Challenge from the giant. The shepherd boy was willing to go. 
But David replied to the Philistine, "You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel's armies, whom you have defied!

What made it so easy for David to slay this giant? He relied on the God of the Universe?
What are our giants? 
1. Giant of delay. The youngest is a keeper of sheep. Too young. 
2. Discouragement. Demoralized. Where is God? Do you become bitter? 
3. Afraid of rejection and disapproval. Why have you come? 
4. Doubt. Question everything. David went to the king. We want to separate our faith and work. God says you are my beloved all week. He is the same all the time. The insults you get are against God not you. What do you have in your hands? Use your gifts. David faced bitterness. He strengthened himself in God. Yourself what are you doing?

What do you expect God to do? Trust God. Expect God to do more.

He was short money and going to jail until the neighbours give him a pile of money.

The guy had the wrong attitude. He failed to acknowledge God. Good stewardship includes retirement plans.

The love of money is the problem.

Always identified with the 3rd servant. A talent is worth $540,000. The 2 servants doubled the money. 

The 3rd servant saw his master as hard. He didn't dare investing it. 
Jesus is coming back. What account will you give for the talents God has given you? What you have has been entrusted to you.

Grade 8 great grandma died the best person in my life. Go say good bye. The most beautiful goodbye. 
One day all my friends rejected me at school.
Gr 11 accident 2.5 years head trauma. Lost freedom. Play no soccer. Go worker said there is nothing in you to love. Got very depressed until a boy came to talk and helped her overcome her depression. Johnnie has been a huge help. Thank you. 
Emily 
never went to church until I got invited to Youth Group. The song Never Alone made a huge impact and changed my life. Turned anxiety time into prayer time.

Margarete 
grew up in CFS care. After age 18 was homeless,  trafficked and addicted. Saw a Bible and came to God while locked in the trafficked room. We do not belong to the night. Let us be sober. Has 4 daughters. Getting the youngest one back. Want everything to be new. 

Bertha 
was baptised in 82 married in 83. Moved to Canada with 3 children. In 99 rededicated  through an Alpha course. When God calls I obey.
Henry born in Paraguay went to church. Dad prayed with me. Always close to dad. 
Liked the teaching. Steve led with my favorite song.

Renewing The Mind

If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care —then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

The focus of salvation is our eternal soul. A future hope and a present hope. Life here can change. We can live differently. That's a universal desire. 188 crowd is looking for freedom and relationships that work. 

Standing out with Christ. Have the same mind as Jesus. Every day we have the opportunity to confess Jesus. We are critical of people who don't live the talk. Integrity means to carry the intention of being like Jesus. Every day you can live to look more like Jesus. 
Start when you get up before breakfast. Start when you show up for work. Live like Jesus when you meet the begger. Every day you have the opportunity. 

The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had:

Know your limits. Make real change. Not just intention. 

Why do we not do this with our spiritual life with life changing intentions. 

You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on his throne at the right side of God. Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory!

Your intention to follow Jesus and believing he wants to transform you will change you. 

Jesus tells the story of 10,000 talents. More than the servant could ever repay.  
He had just begun to do so when one of them was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. The servant did not have enough to pay his debt, so the king ordered him to be sold as a slave, with his wife and his children and all that he had, in order to pay the debt.

God offers enormous forgiveness. He gives grace beyond measure. New lease on life. 

"Then the man went out and met one of his fellow servants who owed him a few dollars. He grabbed him and started choking him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he said. His fellow servant fell down and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back!' But he refused; instead, he had him thrown into jail until he should pay the debt.

The man had no intention to change his ways.

God frees us to be different. Reflect Jesus every day. Dare to be different.

Uncle Edward Friesen age 97


Kelly Friesen Loved his grandpa.
He was charismatic. Loved Jesus. Sang a lot. Witnessed. 
Loved to play with grandkids. Hugs. Had a big tractor sized garden. Had lots of potatoes. 
Great grandpa lived with them. He made spinners.
Harold Berg was so tall he did not fit in the bed. Worked at NDL. Imperial Metal provided lots of buildings up north. 
He put the sheets on the 8/12 roof by himself when he was 80.
We went to old dumps to scrounge for treasures. 
Built Bethal Bible Camp. 
He butchered his own meat. 
He loved snowmobiling in SandiLands
I am very much like grandpa. Sing for Jesus anytime.
I made a clamp for him to help him make coat hangers. 

This is Hard
Ruth's daughters from Alberta. 
Grandpa was unorthodox.
He built stuff stuff and wired without turning the power off. Sparks were flying.
His driving was legendary. He had childlike traffic tickets. 
He was 97. Always liked to test food and poison. Paint ball tasting.

Passing the torch. God has no grandchildren. In his last weeks he could not communicate. Pray for God to take him home. 
He talked about Jesus all the time. 
How is faith transferred? Timothy got it from his mother's side. 2 Tim

1. Bless the child. Grace mercy and peace to you. Grandma did not hold bad stuff against the grandkids
2. Praying for the child. Thank God remember them in prayer. Tearful partings. We want to see him again. 
3. Encourage the child. Fan the flame. Power comes from God. Your dad was committed to God.
He was a good husband for 77 years and a good father.

The Torch has been passed. Let's run with it.

What is true freedom?

Most North Americans have 4 Bibles gathering dust. 
So Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, "If you live by what I say, you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." They replied to Jesus, "We are Abraham's descendants, and we've never been anyone's slaves. So how can you say that we will be set free?" Jesus answered them, "I can guarantee this truth: Whoever lives a sinful life is a slave to sin. A slave doesn't live in the home forever, but a son does. So if the Son sets you free, you will be absolutely free.

What is true freedom? If you sin you are a slave to sin.
When you do something stupid you say it's a free country. 
Czech Republic claims to be very free. A young woman rode the bus naked every day. Lots of men wanted to be on that bus. 
Satan uses the enticement of pleasure. 
Adam and Eve disobeyed. The fruit was good. 
Not everything that the world offers—physical gratification, greed, and extravagant lifestyles—comes from the Father. It comes from the world, and the world and its evil desires are passing away. But the person who does what God wants lives forever.

Sin is something good overdone. Too much of a good thing makes you sick. Sin. 
Sex. God created it. It's good. It's beautiful.

We live in a sex crazed world. Can't tell right from wrong. 
All sin has consequences. Samson was the Judge of Israel. 
The Spirit of God gave him strength. 
Samson went to Gaza. There he saw a prostitute and slept with her. After ⌊leaving Gaza⌋, he fell in love with a woman in the Sorek Valley. Her name was Delilah. The Philistine rulers came to her and said, "Trick him, and find out what makes him so strong. Find out how we can overpower him. We want to tie him up in order to torture him. Each of us will give you 1,100 pieces of silver."

He spent the night with a prostitute but God didn't leave him. 
God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we've done wrong.

He thought there were no consequences. Eventually he got caught.

Brave New World said the rulers would enslave the world with pleasure. Huxley was Orwell's teacher. 
SOMA was a drug to keep people happy. Why do governments fall over each other approving dope? Marihuana. Marijuana. Pot.
4.5b prescriptions last year in NA. Have we taken it too far? 

 Mark was losing his voice and went to an ENT ear nose throat specialist.  He prescribed a Proton Pump Inhibitor drug. Acid reflux.  Daughter told him to Stop the talking. Stopped talking and never took one pill. Make lifestyle choices.
Look at the word of God. The Truth shall set you free.

3. Gospel Living. Good News. What is it? In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was already with God in the beginning. He was the source of life, and that life was the light for humanity. The light shines in the dark, and the dark has never extinguished it. He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him. Yet, the world didn't recognize him. Laws were given through Moses, but kindness and truth came into existence through Jesus Christ.

Receive the Creator of the Universe. 95% devotion to God is 5% short.
As holy people whom God has chosen and loved, be sympathetic, kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Above all, be loving. This ties everything together perfectly. Also, let Christ's peace control you. God has called you into this peace by bringing you into one body. Be thankful.

What does that mean? 
Grew up with grandparents missionaries around the world

Steinbach has 40 some churches. I ask people why they are going to heaven. They don't know. 

Dear children, you belong to God. So you have won the victory over these people, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. We belong to God. The person who knows God listens to us. Whoever doesn't belong to God doesn't listen to us. That's how we can tell the Spirit of truth from the spirit of lies. Dear friends, we must love each other because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. We have seen and testify to the fact that the Father sent his Son as the Savior of the world. God lives in those who declare that Jesus is the Son of God, and they live in God. We have known and believed that God loves us. God is love. Those who live in God's love live in God, and God lives in them.
1 John 4:4‭, ‬6‭-‬7‭, ‬14‭-‬16 GW

A tree can't find water. All it can do is grow and bear fruit. 
That's how we need to abide in Jesus. We can choose where we want to be. By the water or in the desert. Some of us get a bucket of water in church and live in the desert all week hoping we have enough water. 

God loves me no matter what. He wants a personal relationship with me. God's love is always the same. Get to know him as your father. That's what a successful Christian looks like. 

Fall in love with Jesus more and more. He'll change your heart and you'll bear fruit. 

 Meet with Jesus every morning to get his love to change you.

A fellow came to my house. His dad was an imprisoned murderer. I spent 2 hours with him, he accepted Jesus and he us now a married church leader.

Saul did his best to destroy the church. He became a powerful church leader. 

God brought the walls around Jericho down after the people walked in obedience for 7 days. 

Ask Jesus to show you how to walk with him.

Mark is our brave and fearless leader. He is ALWAYS on time for practices and he NEVER forgets. He was the toughest meanest and smelliest giant around. But for all his meanness, Mark does have a soft side. He never once complained when hit by a bomb squeaky toy, even when it was a headshot.

On a more serious note though, we as a drama team really appreciated all the effort you put in, especially for our Aliens production. We'd also like to encourage him to keep up the good leadership job for next year. We couldn't have come this far without you. You stretched us to do our best and forced us out of our comfort zone. Though we may not have appreciated it at the time, we are better actors and better people because of it. Thank you.

Julie is not afraid of the dark, or of the kid faced bug eating Frankenstein monsters hiding under the bed just waiting so they can come out and EAT YOU! She too was always at every practice and never let a little thing like an ambulance call get in the way of her commitment to the team. Even though she is only 6 years old we think she did a great job.

It probably wasn't easy trying to direct us and get stuff done when we just wanted to Goof Off. You were a good motivator though and even when we weren't focused you still were. Thank you for all your hard work and your belief in us that we could do this.

Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Remember that I have commanded you to be determined and confident! The disciples asked Jesus: When are you going to set up your kingdom? God called Israel to bless the nations. Go into all the world.. Jerusalem...

Joshua knew the mantle of leadership would fall on him. 
How can I do this? God provides the resources. God reaffirmed Joshua. He was mourning the loss of his mentor. 
Success would come from
1. The book of the law. Study it continually. At the command of the Lord, Moses wrote down the name of the place each time they set up camp.

We obey. I try to write notes to my wife. She puts them in a book. It reminds her of love. 
The law reminded Joshua of God's love and guidelines. The church is you be the church. It matters what God says 
1. The Bible is the foundation. The heart of God. On his lips
2. Ponder God's word in your heart
3. Be careful to do everything in the book. Live in obedience. Do it all and the power of God will be released in your life. Growth Works book by John North
Remember God says the Power is mine. We will only make a difference when we rely on God's power. 
We are nothing apart from Christ.

We are here for a purpose. Apathy is a serious distraction in following Jesus. We are not told to be good parents. He asks to follow.

I struggle to love people all the time even when I am disappointed in people. That decision has to be made every day. 
When I go to the loveseat I need to be replenished with love. 
Apathy. What happens when there is a cranky kid?
 Feelings? Sympathy. Diplomatic. Factual. Apathetic. Other. 
How do people react to adversity?
Most people are indifferent. Why? Laugh. AFV makes us laugh when others hurt. We are apathetic. 
We can't feel the pain. 
Don't be lazy in showing your devotion. Use your energy to serve the Lord.

Don't be lazy in enthusiasm. Whose job is it to care? 
I know what you have done, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. But since you are lukewarm and not hot or cold, I'm going to spit you out of my mouth.

That church had become apathetic. That makes God sick to his stomach. God is a loving Father and he won't do that. He is self giving. Self sacrificing. Personally focused. Ferociously in love with you and me. 
The Israelites had to choose their best lamb. 
"You say, 'Oh what a nuisance it is,' and you sniff at it in disgust," says the Lord of Armies. "You bring stolen, lame, and sick animals. When you bring such offerings, should I accept them from you?" asks the Lord . "Cheaters are under a curse. They have male animals in their flocks that they vow to give ⌊as a sacrifice⌋. But they sacrifice second-rate ones to the Lord instead. I am a great king," says the Lord of Armies. "Among the nations my name is respected.

God is holy. He is not impressed with second rate commitment. He has promised us peace. We are invited to love Him. 
Do we give only left overs to our kids? Or are we apathetic?

Love One Another through Confusion

It is not fun to be confused. 
What does that mean for you? Fear of losing control or emotion of anger.
How is your relationship going? OK? Confused? Not in control. 
We trust our feelings too much. So many voices. 
I want Clarity. Give my head a shake. I'm Confused. 
What are your standards? Are you a Christ follower? 
26 years ago 150 people decided that they wanted to be "Leading people to Christ and on to maturity in Him". If you don't understand that go to another church.

The 5 Gs
Clarity
1. Grace - not just to be a good person to climb the ladder to God. What if I can't make it all the way to the top? Confusion. We have a God came down to us. That's Grace. That's hard to accept but we have accept it. So we can't boast. Is this clear to you? 
My 10 year old sister asked us whether we had the certainty of God's forgiveness? I prayed that night to accept Jesus.
When you do that you become more gratuitous. 
2. Growth. Walk in forgiveness. If you don't you'll miss out on the good things. I'm a doer and I want to climb the ladder by nature. I have to depend on the Holy Spirit. I had a recent God experience. I'm not a slave to God. I'm his son and He loves me. 
Our Tuesday night concert of prayer. 
3. Groups. Growing in community. Even with the ones we don't like in a church that needs fixing. Living in harmony and unity. The disciples were devoted to the teachings of the apostles, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.

We are the church as a group of people. Know and be known. Love. Serve. 
Everyone needs to belong to s small group. 
4. Gifts. Become part of the story. God in his kindness gave each of us different gifts. If your gift is speaking what God has revealed, make sure what you say agrees with the Christian faith. If your gift is serving, then devote yourself to serving. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. If it is encouraging others, devote yourself to giving encouragement. If it is sharing, be generous. If it is leadership, lead enthusiastically. If it is helping people in need, help them cheerfully.

5. Good Stewardship. Zachaus needed reconciliation.  
All I have comes from God. Joyfully. Give.

King Leopold the King of Kings humbled himself and bowed his knee to the Lord of Lords and the plague in Vienna was stopped. 
There is a statue that celebrated that. 

The Samaritan woman and Jesus chatted. John 4.19

Spirit and truth is to worship with heart and head. Who do we need to worship? Everyone worships something. God created mankind to worship. The Harley or something. Safeway in Kenora has a dock and fancy boat owner came with a hot babe but kept looking at his fancy boat. 
Worship
1. Draws us Closer to God. Kiss his hand. Dog that licks his master's hand. Devoted. What's the difference if you lock someone in the trunk or a dog? The dog will be happy to see you. 
When will you the bridegroom bow down to touch dad's feet? He has done it many times. He bowed down to his pastor's feet.

2. Draw near and God will draw near to you. He'll meet you where you are. Brother had cancer. Got healed. Broke his neck. Got healed. Got cancer and died. Had to keep preaching powerful messages through it all. 

3. He drives our enemies away. Tuesday we prayed for legs. Prayed for Pastor Keith. Couldn't run. Now he ran for the 1st time in 9 months. He prayed for 30 people and they all went for a run. One lady had not run for 7 years.
God defeats our enemies. 

Raise your hand if you want to follow Jesus. 
Thunder sticks to bang to the music. God is fighting for us. God is on our side carrying our burdens. 

Bow down. Our God is alive. Every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb. Who can stop the Lord Almighty?

10s of Thousands before the throne cry day and night bowing before the Throne. Surrender it all.

Are we basically good or bad? Both. We are broken. Good to begin with. Sin = Not together. We are infected with sin. Created in God's image. A worm is a worm. It's OK for it to live in the mud. 
We have imputed righteousness. Justified = just as if I'd never sinned. Luther called it Snow covered dung
Imparted righteousness. A new heart. 
For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter? What does Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

A financial metaphor. Credited. Your account has been credited. A gift. Not earned. Gratuities. God doesn't owe you. Thank God for the gift.

God is putting the broken pieces together. This is good news for the broken. Not so much for the "good". Jesus calls the sinners.

I AM the True vine. The Vine is the symbol of Israel. Psalm 80 God planted a vine. Come back, we beg you, O God of Heaven's Armies. Look down from heaven and see our plight. Take care of this grapevine that you yourself have planted, this son you have raised for yourself. For we are chopped up and burned by our enemies. May they perish at the sight of your frown. Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice.

A vine's only function is to grow grapes. Bear much fruit. That's the evidence of your connection to Jesus the source of your life. 

There are branches that look like Christians but bear no fruit. They may say the right things but not know Jesus. We had apple trees that bore no apples. They had not been pruned.

We confess with our mouths because we have Life. Examine our hearts. Are we bearing much fruit?

We often measure success by the dollars earned. 

3. You are the branches. Abide. Remain. In Jesus. Bear much fruit. You can be a pastor but not bear fruit. Peter denied Jesus. 

Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. "People of Israel," he said, "what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness? For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of all our ancestors—who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this. Jesus said I AM THE WAY. That's emphatic and exclusive. This is the most controversial statement of Jesus. If this is true that changes everything. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH JESUS. 
I AM is the Centre of the gospel and becomes non negotiable. Truth is Truth no matter what. Not consensus. If a religion is false you can make it compatible with another religion. 
Inter path dialogue is the fashionable discussion. Invent your own truth and follow it while you dialogue and take a different route to get to the top. Be sincere to your own truth. If Jesus is to be believed there is only one truth. You will be sincerely wrong if you believe anything else. 
The Foundation of the Gospel is this exclusive claim in 3 parts. Way. Truth. Life. 
Way means origin and destination. Jesus's journey is to the FATHER. Reconciliation is the key. 
What makes heaven so special is to be in the presence of God forever. Not just fire insurance. A relationship not a destination. God has brought us to himself. 
Heaven is not the reason for becoming a Christian. God brought us to himself. 
Truth. Anyone who had seen Jesus has seen the Father. 4 times Genesis says we are in the image of God. Jesus is God in action. 
Life. To live in truth we need Jesus's life. Adam and Eve lost their spiritual life. We need to be equipped to be Jesus's life in the world. 
If we live in relationship with Him we will have Life and Truth to walk in the Way. Born again with power.

Grow Older

As we grow older and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a 300 or a $30 watch they both tell same time..

 whether we carry a $300 or a $30 wallet or handbag the money inside is the same..

 whether you drink a bottle of $300 or $10 wine the hangover is the same..

 whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 ft² loneliness is the same..

 you will realize your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world...

 whether you fly 1st class business or economy class if the plane goes down you go down with it..

  therefore I hope you realize that when you of mates buddies and old friends brothers and sisters to chat with laugh with talk with have sing songs with talk about North South East West or heaven and Earth that is true happiness..

 5 undeniable facts of life 

1. don't educate your children to be rich.. educate them to be happy so when they grow up they will know the value of things not the price..

2. best awarded words in London  eat your food as your medicine otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food..

 3. the one who loves you will never leave you because even if there are 100 reasons to give up he or she will find 1 reason to hold on..

 4. there's a big difference between a human being and being human. only a few really understand it..

5.  You are loved when you're born you will be loved when you die.. in between you have to manage!

I am The Resurrection

When Jesus arrived at Bethany, he was told that Lazarus had already been in his grave for four days. When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him. But Mary stayed in the house. Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. Jesus told her, "Your brother will rise again." Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.  Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?"
John 11:17‭, ‬20‭-‬21‭, ‬23‭, ‬25‭-‬26 NLT

Jesus became the Centre of attention. Real power of Jesus is displayed here. Lazarus was dead. Jesus raised him back to life. 

There is the obvious story. Then there is the other story. Jesus did nothing. For 2 days. He was 50km away. When he finally arrived he was blamed for Lazarus's death. 
Why didn't he come quickly? The hardest thing is when God does not answer our prayers. Is that the way life is? 
There are 2 parallel realities happening at the same time. We need eyes to see God's purposes. 
Jesus agenda was to teach 1. the disciples and for 2. God's glory. 3. And for Mary and Martha. V41 4th the crowd. 5. Many Jews put their faith in Jesus. 6. Lazarus. 

It's not about us. It's about God's agenda. Phil 1.20 Christ to be exalted.

Healing would have been wonderful. This miracle was more. 

If only you had been here. We often say that. We can't rewrite history. It only makes us bitter. Then we look to the future. Jesus was in the present "I AM" God. He's what we need now. He's the Resurrection Now. He offers nothing but himself.

She said I believe. Take away the stone. What? He stinks.
Jesus said trust me I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. 

Lazarus come. Jesus is the Christ the Son of God.

If only. Jesus will be the light the life in you. 

Quartet. There is coming a day. What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see.

Uncle Ronald's funeral

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, 'Don't be afraid. I am here to help you. Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don't be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord , your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.' You will be a new threshing instrument with many sharp teeth. You will tear your enemies apart, making chaff of mountains. The 7 trees have their own healing balm and strength for us to carry on. 

God holds my hand. He'll not let go. Thank you Father for your loving shepherd care.

Greetings in the name of Jesus. He and the Holy Spirit are here. This is a victory celebration because another pilgrim staggered through the gates of heaven and escaped the clutches of the evil one. 

Uncle Ronald would insist that we need to focus on Jesus and his work. Not on him. 

His steps were getting weaker. He kept coming to church. He loved his church family. I visited him and asked him about health. He said a few things and then said let's talk about more important things. 

What are the more important things? 
2 Corinthians 4.5 we don't preach ourselves but Jesus Christ. 

You see, we don't go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:5‭-‬6 NLT

The universal cry is for value and worth. 

This earthen vessel is minor. The glory that comes through Jesus. 

Uncle Ronald recently read: 
You see, we don't go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Corinthians 4:5‭-‬6‭, ‬17‭-‬18 NLT

Am I committed to fix my eyes on Jesus? He was honest about his failures.

It is more important to be holy than healthy. We have an eternal soul that never dies. 

Why do people spend so much time and money trying to beautify their bodies? And neglect the eternal? 

Rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Your earthly name goes away. Ronald chose to secure his eternal destiny. Do you think he ever regretted that decision? He chose to have his name written in the book of life.

Except a man is born again he can't see the Kingdom of Heaven. Choose Jesus today.

You can safely go to Jesus and confess your sin and be born again. This is for everyone.

Grandfather Ronald taught his grandson to drive the tractor and then went away to pray? 

He chose his citizenship to be in heaven.

In '94 Uncle Ronald came to visit us in the Phillipines to see how we could get Scriptures to hard to reach places.

He knew what it meant to prepare the ground. He knew what the issues of farming were and the crops are not always what we hope for. Start a new crop. It's never too late to clean up a life. 

Will you follow Jesus Christ? Weep in joy! He has arrived. He kept the faith. Weep in joy! His pain is gone. Weep in faith! We will meet again.
