I can't think of any nice way of saying it, so I'll just say it and get it over with and then if you feel led to do so you can say a prayer for me and my family. We have been hit with another health challenge!  I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma.
I would appreciate prayer especially that I will make the right treatment choices and if God so chooses that the tumour would miraculously disappear!
The following prayer that I copied from someone into my prayer journal came to my mind this morning as I was thinking about writing this post.
"Lord, I praise your name !  Your will and ways are perfect.  I ask your will to be carried out every moment of every day in my life. Let me not be fearful of the unknown, but confident in the promises of Your Word. Help me to anticipate the events of my life as the work of Your mighty hands. In Jesus' Name. Amen"
And this quote by John Eldredge: "'I wonder what God is up to in all this?'  The process of our journey rests entirely on our ability to see life from the basis of that question."

Plants need water and soil. You are that. You have opportunities to grow the kingdom. There are people who need you.
God wants more from you. When God taps you on the shoulder he gives strength. John 14:27
"Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.
Who gives peace? Jesus. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Say it. I have the peace of God. Jesus's Peace comes from the inside. The world's peace is from the outside. Everything is as it should be and I have outside peace. The world's peace.
Know and understand the inside. That transcends all understanding. Jesus gave us an inside peace.
What's going on inside? Jesus has planted peace. What stops His peace?
Jesus, is this me? The Holy Spirit wants to speak to you. Our potholes slow us down. Things don't work. Why? Why me? Don't stay there. Don't demand that God tell you why.
This is not nice fluffy stuff? Does the Creator of the universe owe you an answer? Job found out. God's thoughts are higher. We wouldn't get it. Our view is so small. His is so big. I think I need to know why. That does not bring peace. Rest in God and He will give you peace.
When the teacher gives the test he is silent. God wants you to fight through. He lets us learn and grow. No need to demand yo know why. Happily ever after doesn't work.
Trust his loving care.
A lady with serious cancer said she was ok. She spent her life in the peace of God. She had built a chapel in her heart.
Don't let resentment build a roadblock in your life.
We just don't know everything. Go back to what you know.

3 God is more interested in my character than my comfort. He loves you. He comes after you. You are more than a conqueror. One son is really struggling. When your kids hurt you hurt. What if God called you to be a father to a boy that struggles. Be the best dad you can be to him. Even if it involves pain.

Lord , I have given up my pride and turned away from my arrogance. I am not concerned with great matters or with subjects too difficult for me.  Instead, I am content and at peace. As a child lies quietly in its mother's arms, so my heart is quiet within me.  Israel, trust in the Lord now and for ever!

Ephesians 6  Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. "Honor your father and mother." This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, "things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth." Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

Husbands love your Wives. Submitting to one another in love.
Some husbands are bad heads but they are the head of the household whether they like it or not.
Our left and right hands compliment each other like husband and wife compliment each other.

Children are born with a sinful nature. Their nature causes them to their tantrums, disobey, etc without being encouraged to do that.

We are teaching that in children's ministry and giving them the opportunity to pray. 2 Timothy 3.15 children need to be exposed to the gospel.

Obedience comes from honour. Inward honour makes it easier to obey. Honour is to give great respect. Jesus had respect to his father.

We live in a culture of democracy. Some other cultures operate on the honour system.

Jesus honoured his own disciples.
1. Mom and dad. Couples. You need to agree with each other. Not say yes when your partner says no to the kids. Family who is doing what? Are you of the same faith? Common agreement is very important. What faith will we follow? There are so many dysfunctional families. Isaac and Rebekah Genesis 27.11 seriously broken relationship. Isaac had told the philistine king that she was his sister. Laban deceived Jacob.

Jacob wrestled with God and God renamed him Israel.

You are loved. Take my life and let it be yours, father.

We keep killing and destroying one another. More than 1/2 the world lives on $3 a day. This makes God sad.

On mom's side the family were passionate missionaries. Dad became a military man. He was taught that Islam was a religion of peace. Could recite the Koran in Arabic by the age of 5.

9/11 changed the world and Muslims had to try to restore the rhetoric.
They hijacked Islam when they hijacked the planes.

How is God the 3 in one?
He met Christians that had no answers. He started researching the Koran. There are lots of peaceful verses. But there are lots slay the infidel verses. What is the truth about Mohammed? You are followers of him. Mohammed was very violent. Let's look at the original source. Mohammed was peaceful and got more violent as he grew older. 86 violent battles before he died. He said to slay the infidels so Islam will prevail over every religion. The only guarantee of going to heaven is to die in Jihad.

The Bibles is not corrupted. The arguments Muslims use to deny its accuracy much more apply to the Koran.

70% of converted Muslims had visions and dreams that brings them to Christ.

Conversion is hard. You destroy the family and their their reputation under the bus. To convert you have to mourn.

They do not use the Koran for comfort. Liturgical use only. Opened the Bible for comfort. Matthew 5 blessed are those who mourn. God will bless those who are trash.

Matthew 10 confess me before others. Give up my family? My life. He who does not pick up the cross. ...
The gospel is a call to die. The light in my mom's eyes went out the day is I confessed Jesus. God why didn't you kill me the moment I became a Christian? This is not about you. I cried for a long time.

I walked out and the world had changed. I saw people for whom Jesus died. The God of the universe born to 2 children. Flogged to ribbons.  Excruciating pain in death. Cross pain. God loves you enough to die for you that way.

As I have loved you so love one another.

Transgenderism of Children is Child Abuse, American College of Pediatrics Rules

The American College of Pediatricians released a statement this week declaring that gender reclassification of children, also known as transgenderism, constitutes child abuse.

"The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex," the statement, entitled "Gender Ideology Harms Children," began. "Facts – not ideology – determine reality."

The statement, published Monday, March 21, with a full statement to follow in summer 2016, listed what the association ruled to be eight objective facts supporting their argument for why gender reclassification will now officially be classified as abuse:

1. Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: "XY" and "XX" are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder.

2. No one is born with a gender. Everyone is born with a biological sex. Gender (an awareness and sense of oneself as male or female) is a sociological and psychological concept; not an objective biological one.

3. A person's belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking. When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.

4. Puberty is not a disease and puberty-blocking hormones can be dangerous. Reversible or not, puberty-blocking hormones induce a state of disease – the absence of puberty – and inhibit growth and fertility in a previously biologically healthy child.

5. According to the DSM-V, as many as 98% of gender confused boys and 88% of gender confused girls eventually accept their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty.

6. Children who use puberty blockers to impersonate the opposite sex will require cross-sex hormones in late adolescence. Cross-sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen) are associated with dangerous health risks including but not limited to high blood pressure, blood clots, stroke and cancer.

7. Rates of suicide are twenty times greater among adults who use cross-sex hormones and undergo sex reassignment surgery, even in Sweden which is among the most LGBQT – affirming countries.

8. Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful as child abuse.

The policy statement was authored by President of the American College of Pediatricians, Dr. Michelle A. Cretella, Vice President of the American College of Pediatricians, Dr. Quentin Van Meter and Johns Hopkins Medical School Psychology Professor Dr. Paul McHugh.

McHugh, who once served as Johns Hopkins' head psychiatrist, penned an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal in 2014, proclaiming that transgenderism is a "mental disorder" and calling sex change a "medical impossibility."

1. Jesus raids the temple. Fashioned a whip and overturned the trading tables. 40 years after that the temple was ripped apart stone by stone.
The veil of the temple was ripped in 2. The holy of holies had a huge veil. 4 layers thick. The earthquake could not have done that. Only the finger of God could do that. Jesus shed his blood. The Old Testament system was finished.
2. He Rescued the Hostages We are all captives of the sin nature. We are not inherently good. How do you explain Stalin Hitler Rwanda slave trade?
Guilt is a gift that keeps on giving. Weekly confession. Hail Mary. Penitence. 
We talk about forgiveness glibly. Jesus bore your sIns and God forsook him.
A chief's mother was caught stealing and ordered to get 20 lashes. The chief came and covered his mother so the mother did not get the lashes.

The old uncles came back to life. Jesus went down to the lower part of the earth and released all the Captives and took them to heaven with him.

She had no place to shed her bitterness.

Paul said maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond off peace. Not be on an island of our own. Wars have been fought in the Spirit of bitterness.
Community clubs are easier to deal with than churches. It's easy to get stuck in the rotating script of pain. You want to be free of that. Philippe got upset when his brother slept with his wife. He killed his brother and lived with the pain for the rest of his life.

Angry but do not sin. No abuse allowed. When you get angry snap yourself with a rubber band. That will help.

Don't give room to the devil. Spiritual warfare, the church needs to help with that. Do something. Love on others. Get to work. Don't think me me me. Get off your butt.
Let ALL bitterness be put away from you. We can't do that on our own. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. Give room to him.
Be kind and forgiving.
Jesus went to the cross. He took all the anger to set us free.
Christ is our only hope.

It's time to grow up.
Growth is not flashy. Slow behind the scenes. What does the church look like? You'll reach the measure of the full stature of Christ.
What if you aged but never grew up? In our early years we are consumed by ourselves. The world is you. As we age our perspective changes. Relationships change. You find love. With someone different. Encounter tragedy. Life is not about me. There is more.

The life we live should be in Grace. Not to absolve ourselves and continue to walk in sin. Be inspired by God to walk with him.

We need to get rid of things and allow God to grow my garden. The Spirit creates a God recreated character in us. We don't become good so we can get God. The negatives are cast off to make room for God to work in us.

We are anchored by prayer to hold us together.

The Quebec church planter did not want to be called but now he's baptised 160 people. He thinks by 2025 25% of Quebec will be evangelical.

Bill and his wife were roaming Scotland when she said we need to move across the pond. She's prophetic.

Evangelists are charming and want to be out there sharing the gospel. We need more of them. They create the culture of evangelism. He taught his staff to evangelize and baptize.

I learned this in the marketplace. A willful suspension of disbelief. You need that to enjoy a movie. Batman or Fast and Furious
Some of us want to suspend belief to have success in the marketplace. We think it's too hard to follow Jesus in the workplace. Jesus said you can't serve God and money.
Daniel worked hard for the king.
Is positioning the truth in marketing a conflict?

Deceitfulness of wealth can cause problems. To layer Him in causes problems.

Gluttony

Today we talk about gluttony at www.Soul Sanctuary.ca. We have a channel dedicated to Food.
Gluttony is to be exceedingly eager to eat to much.

Food is a gift. Festivals of the Old Testament had food at its centre. Jesus was called a glutton.
Wise temperance of the stomach is good.
Luke 12 life is more than food.

Gluttony shows up in 5 ways.
1. Drink. Customized. To the last item.
The Screwtape Letters all I want state of mind.
Life is not perfect. The glutton insists on being pampered. Petty and foolish. Seriously? Harassing the employee. Stop it. It's foolish and petty.
2. Sumptuously. Cookies. Want it all the time. Cry and throw a tantrum. Needing to feel valued. Nobody appreciates me. Eat decadent foods.
3. Hastily. The Arches. How fast you get it. Busy busy busy. Consume. Hash browns. Egg McMuffin. Genesis 25 first story of fast food. Feed me or I'll die. I need the red stuff. You can have my inheritance. Need to eat. Missing God's gift. Food is meant to be shared. Are you addicted to the rush in your life?
4. Chips. Greedily. At the Paradisio Mexican serves unlimited chips. It becomes a bottomless hole and every one digs in in the scarcity mindset. A long line and you take and eat all the chips. 40% of our food gets wasted. Costco and we buy 2 when we only need one
5. Too Much. We want one more. Dessert.

This is hard to hear today. Throughout history men have dominated women. Africa rape. Sex trade in Asia.

This doesn't say: men make sure women are submissive. Read it again. The love of God is to be demonstrated in our lives.

Dear friends, I warn you as "temporary residents and foreigners" to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.

2000 years ago when people read this they were shocked. In their world women were by nature inferior.

It takes men years to figure out that women are more emotional but not inferior.

Women were now entitled to think. A gentle and quiet spirit is a character trait. Honour and respect does not mean do things that are immoral or illegal. Don't stop the cackle if that's what you do. Jesus determines my worth.

Husbands be considerate. Weaker only means physical strength. We are created differently. Women are empowered. Considerate means think what God thinks of them. Treat them well. A Greek order said we have mistresses and concubines and a wife to keep the house.
God designed sex for a husband and wife exclusively. No other intimacy. Since creation men and women are created equal. Heirs of God shared.
Different but equal. Submission does not mean inferiority. Putting other's needs above our own.

Equality and rights. Equal rights might be equal but without love. Love is affirming. Send him her a text of affirmation.
Passive aggressive manipulative response.
Clean the shower. I don't know where the stuff is.

Take the initiative to communicate.

Communion. Take a piece of bread and dip it in the wine in memory of Jesus.

Philippians 2 It's all about attitude
It determines how we act.

Attitude is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, money, circumstances, than failures and success, than what other people think, say, or do. It is more important than appearance, ability, or skill. It will make or break a business, a home, a friendship, an organization. The remarkable thing is I have a choice every day of what my attitude will be. I cannot change my past. I cannot change the actions of others. I cannot change the inevitable. The only thing I can change is attitude. Life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it.

1. We think we have individual rights to decide everything about me. Paul said we should have an obedient attitude to Christ. Give up your rights.
Please your neighbour to build him up. Don't Lord it over others.

When we choose not to love others we are not having a good attitude.

2. Jesus became a servant. As God he could have demanded we serve him.
The world tells us to do everything we can to get ahead.
Seek to serve others

3. We strive for major achievements. Have titles. Jesus humbled himself. To give it all away. A giver not a getter.
Pride wants to build myself up. Humble we build up others.
Through Jesus's poverty we become rich.
Sacrificial attitude. Give instead of receive. Consider others better than yourself.

Esther is pregnant.
Wants baby dedication before the baby is born.
Started driving together and living in the truck.
Found a new job and got pregnant. Lost the baby. Grief and loss. Michael took time to process. 2011 got pregnant again. Parenting in amazing. Malayna always brightens our world.

Started a trucking company. God was in the details. Got pregnant again.

Had a head-on collision in the middle of Saskatchewan. The phone quit. The gap.

Lots of issues with the pregnancy. Alianna was born with issues. Her brain was not working. 6 to 12 months life expectancy.

Had a baby dedication at home. On oxygen. Pulled the plug. That was hard. Expected her to die. She kept going. For 2 months. 

God carried us. It's a story I never would have chosen.

Kept the business going.

We celebrate Alianna. The condition is genetic.

Got pregnant again. Tested. Same condition for this new baby. Malayna is excited and named the new baby Eli. God

Many people pray. It's hard to get excited. Termination in morally reprehensible and might cause regret. Wanted the nightmare to be over.

Want to cherish this child right now. The Lord is close to the broken hearted. Got the book Holding on to Hope by Nancy Guthrie. Isn't real faith about pursuing God and what he wants not pursuing my wants.

Zach Hunter said life is not about comfort.

Suffering and grief we all experience. Life sucks. Share your story.

What does God want for us? It's easy to praise God on the mountain top. We're in a valley. Lots of dreams shattered.

God wants us to LOVE him and be thankful. Phil 4.
God cares about the details of my life. If I allow him. As a control freak that's hard.

What does God want for us? Success happiness? That's not my life. God wants me to trust him. Dependency on God makes life good. He cares more than I can imagine.

What is the one thing you want people to process today?
God always has your back. He cares.
Give God control. Invite him into your situation. Then he comes through in the way beyond me.

In the midst of this he is still God.

Do a baby dedication. Share the story. This is very unusual. A baby can't be baptized on confession of faith. But like Jesus was dedicated so we dedicate babies today to make a lifelong commitment to raise them in the love of Jesus and release them to God.

Jesus has already been using you big. Giving your child to God is a commitment.

Soul is a loving caring community.

We all have messiness in our lives to work through. We wish we could change things.
Life's circumstances define us. There are people you look up to. There are others that impact you profoundly negatively. There are good teachers and bah teachers. There is goodness and evil all around us.
Who is important to you? Jesus grandma. There are great people alive today. The greatest is. .. Who is the second greatest? Adam. Created perfect by God. 1 Corinthians 15

Death came because of what a man did. Rising from the dead also comes because of what a man did. Because of Adam, all people die. So because of Christ, all will be made alive.
Do we live in Adam or in Christ?
Read the 6 chapters of Ephesians. Speak the truth in love like Christ the HEAD of the CHURCH. Just as death came through one man LIFE came through one MAN, JESUS.
How can we take on the identity of Christ? Only through the atoning death of the crucified and risen Christ. "IN CHRIST" appears more than 200 times.

I, Paul, am writing this letter. I am an apostle of Christ Jesus just as God planned. I am sending this letter to you, God's people in Ephesus. Because you belong to Christ Jesus, you are faithful.  May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.  Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Those blessings come from the heavenly world. They belong to us because we belong to Christ.  God chose us to belong to Christ before the world was created. He chose us to be holy and without blame in his eyes. He loved us. So he decided long ago to adopt us as his children. He did it because of what Jesus Christ has done. It pleased God to do it. All those things bring praise to his glorious grace. God freely gave us his grace because of the One he loves.
When we are attached to the tree (Christ) we will grow.

Some people are raised in a shame environment. Good activity made me feel loved. In 1997 started fasting and praying for 40 days to find deeper relationship with Jesus and get rid of my spirit of self sufficiency. Being a husband or businessman is activity that leads to identity idolatry. People get disillusioned when things don't work as per our dreams. Challenge your children to remember that God's identity is stamped on them. To elevate our children we create identity idolatry in them.
Paul understood that his identity was in Christ. He challenged everyone to be faithful followers of Christ.
Trust Christ and his faithfulness in this New Year!
John 10:10 Jesus came to give us a rich and satisfying life.

Was on a trip to the tropics. Rough it out in Palm Springs to help parents shut down the condo. Age and sickness causes us to lose power. Jesus is the Power we need. Less of me more of Jesus.
Power shift to kingdom power.
Let's seek the true power of Jesus. Take time to be still to enjoy God and his Gift.
The poor you will always have with you.
Let's work for restorative justice around the world. First we must repent of our sIns and become less and learn to rest in God's lavish and ridiculous love.
We rejoice in what God has sent. Do we see beyond the story and have a personal relationship.
Jesus loved John the most. He loves me and you the most.
God is with us now. John the Baptist testified about Jesus. Are we willing?
Jesus turns water to high quality wine prepared by the servants. They were the first ones to witness the miracle. Jesus turned things upside down.
After this Jesus went out to baptize and the disciples started to argue.

At this time John the Baptist was baptizing at Aenon, near Salim, because there was plenty of water there; and people kept coming to him for baptism. So John's disciples came to him and said, "Rabbi, the man you met on the other side of the Jordan River, the one you identified as the Messiah, is also baptizing people. And everybody is going to him instead of coming to us." John replied, "No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven. You yourselves know how plainly I told you, 'I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for him.' It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at his success. He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.

Who knows the nativity story?
John 3.16 God sent his only son into the world.

Ravi Zacharias:
"During this Christmas season I think often of that extraordinary verse in Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given." Let us be sure of what is being said here. The Son is not born; the SON eternally existed and is GIVEN. The CHILD is BORN and entered our time.

He who dwells in the realm of eternity entered time. He understands our times. And so it is that eternity breaks into time to give us a glimpse of what always was and is and will be. God in that divine moment revealed Himself as He had never been revealed before, through His Son. That is what the Christmas message is all about."

Who gets the birth announcements in this day of social media? The grandparents before the friends?

Shepherds were the most zero of all people. No help was to be given to heathen or shepherds.
They were labeled isolated likely and forgotten.
They were brash and bold. They were considered unreliable.
We play the game of our labels. Shepherds were story tellers. Not reliable.

Why did God choose the shepherds to hear the birth announcement? Jesus said he came for the underdogs. Not the self righteous.
We are all lost and unreliable. Like the shepherds and tax collectors. Luke 19

He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. "Zacchaeus!" he said. "Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today." Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. But the people were displeased. "He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner," they grumbled. Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, "I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!" Jesus responded, "Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham.  For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost."

Have you ever been audited? That makes you feel a millimeter high.
Tax collectors were hated and despised. Labeled as crooks. The chief tax collector had others working for him ripping off the people.
He runs. Rich guys don't. He climbed a tree. Rich guys don't. Jesus called him by name. A zero becomes SOMEBODY known by name.
Jesus knows your name even if you are sitting in a tree. Jesus says get out of the tree because I want to dine with you.
Jesus brings faith into our lives.
You can't Find Jesus. He finds you.
Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost.

Zacchaeus is overcome with exuberant joy and stood before the Lord and said, "I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!"
4X is amazing.
God gave His one and only son to us. He gave us everything.

3rd Advent welcome
PEACE. Christmas. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Hallmark says everyone at the manger is smiling and at peace.
What does peace look like? Not fighting?
Is peace God's idea? Is peace the same as peacefulness? Getting along?
God's notion of Peace is Shalom. Harmony everywhere between nature and people. Beautiful harmony. Doesn't always happen. Nails on chalkboard. Grin and bear it would be the peaceful thing to do. Shalom stops the disharmony and brings back beautiful harmony.
Luke 2.8-14 Isaiah 11 Ephesians 2

The angel said to them, "Don't be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people. For there is born to you today, in David's city, a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord.
Why did the shepherds get the message? The nobodies rather than the king.
Deep seated contentment. What if that is peace? They were ready to go. They found God was giving them his peace.
People that grasp for power trying to control people around them will have trouble finding peace. Harod found no peace.

Are we living like we are trying to take charge of everything? Can we leave the saving to the Messiah? He will save the people from their sIns. Jesus means God saves. Go be where Jesus is and God will take it from there. We do that here and in small groups. Spent time with God.

Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.  The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.  The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.  The nursing child will play near a cobra's hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den.  They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Our visions of Peace excludes people. I won't lie down here unless the wolf leaves.
The Romans violently removed all opposition. Then they had peace.
If God brings peace he brings it for everyone including my enemies.
I have to forgive to have peace.
Is there anything harder than forgiveness? We love to get even to get revenge. Has revenge ever brought peace? An eye for eye is the old testament rule. Not eye and ear for an eye.
God says forgive. Active reconciliation.

But now in Messiah Yeshua you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Messiah. For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition, having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace; and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby. He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near. For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones, and of the household of God, being built on the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Messiah Yeshua himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

Jesus brought peace through sacrifice. Giving up my agenda. Becoming a peace maker not a peace lover. Becoming active in bringing peace.
