Elijah
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms

God is Making Things Right
Saturday, August 03, 2019
There is no such thing as incompatible
There is no such thing as incompatible. It's a term made up by the divorce attorneys. We're all different. No one is going to be completely compatible with you. Because no one is exactly like you. You can get along with anyone you choose to get along with. You can choose to love anybody you choose to love.
Here are the two words you need for your marriage to be a success: "Grow up!" It's immaturity that causes a marriage to die.
Inflexibility is the problem. The first cause of conflict is self-centeredness.
The greater your differences in marriage the greater your potential for growth. The primary purpose of marriage is not to make you happy but to make you holy. It's not a matter of compatibility but am I willing to grow up and learn.
It's always more rewarding to resolve a conflict than to dissolve a relationship.
Our nature is to be self-centered. You're always thinking about you. Not about me. It's my nature to be stubborn. If I want a good relationship I need to think less about me and more about you.
The second cause of conflict is pride. With pride I get my feelings hurt easily. Humble people don't get their feelings hurt. Pride only leads to arguments. Proverbs 13:10 Too much pride causes trouble. Be sensible and take advice.
Proverbs 13:10 CEV

That's the first verse to memorize on your honeymoon.
Here's a secret sentence that will break a log jam in any conflict "I'm sorry I was only thinking of myself."
Memorize that and get over your conflict.

Dr. David Jeremiah session 8
God has given you EVERYTHING YOU NEED
BROTHERLY KINDNESS
Opening David Michael Jeremiah
What does it mean to live life in godliness? God's promises EVERYTHING for life and godliness. For that reason add... BROTHERLY KINDNESS
The real definition of Jesus followers. The mailman Floyd Martens retired with a big party. He was their pastor and confidant. Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was the opposite of the world's media. Peter wanted us to LIVE IN Philadelphia the city of brotherly kindness.
I. Forge Your Friendships with Trust Ephesians 4:25
The commentary to describe the Philadelphia Christian life. With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. Ephesians 4:2 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/eph.4.2.TPT
Paul's 7 delivery points of what it means to be a Christian
Forge friendships. We're members of one another. Trusting spirit. Being honest doesn't mean to bury the next person. Trust each other. Honest kind. Be angry but sin not. Be angry about sin but not at people. Anger is the most fun sin. You eat yourself. The more you grow up the less you blow up. Settle your issues before you go to bed. We live in an angry world. Don't sin. Anger gives the devil a foothold.
II. Fill Your Relationships with Grace Ephesians 4:26-27 don't be angry.
Ill. Feed Someone Who ls Hungry Ephesians 4:28
Quit stealing and work so you can share and help others. Help the homeless. Be willing to be suckered rather than not sharing. Buy them a pizza. Ask the Lord for sensitivity. Help the helpless. Adopt. Add radical kindness.
IV. Fortify others with Your Words Ephesians 4:29
Impart grace. No gutter mouths. Compliment at least one person every day. Fiddler on the Roof. Got 4 tickets. Yiddish. Went anyway. It was fun. Great story. Let the office know that they are good. That comes back to you. Abraham Lincoln carried an article by someone who appreciated him. Quit being snakes.
V. Flush Bitterness out of Your Spirit Ephesians 4:30-31
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. He lives within us. Don't make speeches about how you'll get even. Foster was expelled from the University when she was young. She now got an honorary degree.
Vl. Find New Ways to Practice Kindness Ephesians 4:32
I don't have to agree with you. Practice kindness.
Vll. Forgive quickly Ephesians 4:32
Be kind tender hearted. Forgiveness and kindness. Random acts of kindness creates a chain reaction. Buy a meal for someone who's mad

Dr. David Jeremiah session 7
Introduction 1 Timothy 3:16: John 1:18; 1 Peter 2:9-12
July 4 weekend is the least attended Sunday. Had a big car show. Honor the military. They cry. Gave away 4,000 medals. 2 marines repelled down the ceiling. Had indoor fireworks. Proud to be American. Everyone wants to come here.
Everything you need is in the Bible.
and to understanding add the strength of self-control, and to self-control add patient endurance, and to patient endurance add godliness, 2 Peter 1:6 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/2pe.1.6.TPT
Someone broke into Roman's house and cleaned it top to bottom. We need cleaning from the inside out. We have that yearning. The mystery of godliness is only available through Jesus. God has no grandchildren. The only way to heaven is by God's grace. Not your works. When you accept His gift you take it from there and live out God's blessings. Jesus is the earthly portrait of God. Jesus showed us what God would do. Read Jesus to know God. Study Him. You are the only Jesus many people will ever do. I'm different because of Jesus. In preparation for the role of Judy Garland, Renee Zellweger she studied Judy to be like her. I want to be like Jesus. Read his word. WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? Study what Christ is like. I. Examining Your Identity A. You Are God's Possession 1 Peter 2:9-10; Deuteronomy 7:6
You are chosen. His SPECIAL people. But you are God's chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual "nation" set apart as God's devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world . 1 Peter 2:9 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/1pe.2.9.TPT
If you are a Christian you are unique and special. Peter wrote to the everyday believer. I never felt special. You can have a special relationship with Jesus. God wants you. Jesus loves you.
B. You Are God's Pilgrim 1 Peter 2:11; 1 Chronicles 29:15; Philippians 3:21
Sojourner and pilgrim. Not John Wayne. We're not citizens of earth going to heaven, but citizens of heaven going through earth. My watch needs to be kept on heaven time. John Bunyan's book is still a best seller. The Celestial City is what he was obsessed with. As Christians we want to build our spiritual muscles.
C. You Are God's Platform 1 Peter 2:12
We're to be witnesses a testimony to everyone. The Nuba people are bombed. Dr. Katina is Jesus Christ to them. Honorable conduct. Our hands become the hands of Jesus.
II. Exercising Your Identity
A. Godliness ls About ownership-Act Like You Belong 1 Corinthians 6:20; Romans 1:6-7; 8:1;14:8
You belong to God. Don't embarrass Him. You are not your own. Honor God. We belong to him. Our world has lost its sense of belonging. We have become faceless button pushers. There is no condemnation for those who belong to Jesus. Let his wish be your will. Trust him.
B. Godliness Is About Citizenship-Keep Your Eyes on Heaven 2 Peter 3:10-14
Keep your watch on heaven's time. You become like the place you want to go and who you want to follow. Don't you think you'd want know about the place you're going to spend eternity.
C. Godliness Is About Stewardship-Carry out Your Assignment Peter 2:12
Carry out your assignment. 500,000 people attend Satish's church in a Hindu environment in India. They bake cakes for everyone's birthday and do so much good doing their ministry. They have their own cemetery. They give away 20,000 chicken dinners.
Conclusion 1 Timothy 4:8
While you are here as a pilgrim. Work on this.

David Jeremiah session 4
Dr Jeremiah Session 3
Dr Jeremiah Session 3
Recorded for television July 2, 2019
VIRTUE Quality control will make or break any commercial enterprise. Quality control is essential in business, in public utilities, in agriculture in education, in sports - in every area of life. And it is vital to our personalities too. You and I are not exempt from the need for personal quality control. If we're going to be strong and effective people who can withstand the pressures of this world and bear a testimony and leave behind a legacy we must be people of quality.
The Bible has a word for that - virtue.
That's a word we seldom hear anymore, but it in the Bible. It's the Bible's quality control division, and the apostle Peter tells us we should be diligent about adding virtue to our faith (2 Pet. 1:5).
If you long to be a person of moral excellence in our anything-goes culture, let Dr. Jeremiah show you the ways God is equipping you to live a quality life!
